Join Us for Society + Technology at UW’s Fall Symposium
On October 2, 2026, Society + Technology at UW is thrilled to host The Power of Public Research and Teaching in a Technological Society, a symposium at the Burke Museum in Seattle, Washington, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Research and teaching have their greatest impact when this work fosters understanding and empathy, strengthens intellectual community and creativity, and contributes to human well-being. Society + Technology at UW’s symposium is designed with this impact in mind. Our fall convening will elevate UW’s work at the critical juncture of society and technology in areas such as governance and trust, communication and meaning, bioethics and embodiment, and more. Would you like to join us? Space is limited. RSVP today.
Yours,
Ryan Calo, Chair, Technology and Society Task Force
